The service we specialize in, and have the most experience in, is weddings. We know how important these events are and take that extra step to make sure it is a positive memory for the bride and groom, as well as their family and guests. From the very beginning, we meet with the couple in person to plan every aspect to their liking ahead of time - to ensure the event goes exactly to their expectations. We are flexible enough to get details down to each song or activity, but experienced enough to be able to handle the event completely if you want to just leave it in our hands, worry-free.

Our wedding services include the ceremony (if applicable) and the reception to follow. 

For the ceremony, we can play the background music beforehand, the music during the ceremony (bridal march, unity candles, recessional, etc.) as well as provide discreet wireless microphones for the officiant and the couple at the 'altar' so the guests can hear the vows and interactions even in the back of the room.

The reception will be hosted by the DJ from the receiving line all the way until the last dance. During the reception the DJ will inform the audience of upcoming events (first dance, cake cutting, etc.) as well as helping to facilitate them. Each A.I.M. DJ is trained to be interactive and entertaining, but at the same time not over-bearing. He will only use the microphone where it is needed, and not try to be the star of the show. Our DJ's have the experience of knowing right where that line is - to have a good, fun personality on the microphone without going over the top.

Our equipment is mobile enough to move from the ceremony area to the reception area, no matter if it's an indoor or outdoor event. The music system supplied will be just the right size - larger systems for bigger audiences, and smaller ones for the events requiring less. We promise we'll have enough sound for large weddings, at the same time not have too much for the smaller, priivate ones.

Our DJ's will always dress appropriately for the festivity - our standard dress is black tie and jacket, but can be modified for themed weddings if suggested or requested by the wedding couple.

Pricing for these events are very resonable and straight forward. It is based purely on an hourly rate, there will never be an extra or hidden charge.  Everything is included - the in-person consultation, wireless microphones, special effect lights (if requested), set-up and clean-up, and everything else is included in the hourly rate. The only exception will be if there is extensive driving involved and/or an overnight accomodation needed. Generally, an event within 60 miles of Chico requires no additional charges.

No matter what the event, if it needs music and/or emcee'ing we would love to be a part of it. From backyard BBQ's, birthday or anniversary parties, retirement parties, company events, holiday celebrations, or just for fun - we bring the same level of experience and professionalism to each one. We'll provide the right size sound system to your event - indoor or outdoor. Many of our DJ's first learned their craft from working at FunLand/Cal Skate Chico as DJ's. Yes, we ran the redlight/greenlight games, we even did the hokey pokey and chicken dances. But what this job taught us more than anything is how to interact with kids and young adults.  Not only do we know the current music that's hot, but we know what it takes to get 'kids' moving and having fun. We get on the microphone and encourage them to loosen up and have a great time. We mix in games and activities like the limbo and 'snowballs' to get even the shyest off the wall. (Here's a link to a different DJ site which explains some of the dances and activities we do). If you have ever seen a happy kid at FunLand, more than likely that person was entertained by one of our DJ's or a trainee of theirs.

Of course since these dances are generally school-sponsored events, the music played is not only radio-edited and 'clean', but we make sure to play songs that are free of suggestive content or would be considered offensive - even if the kids hound us to play them! We always play a good mix of rock, dance, 'clean' rap, classic party songs, and not TOO many slow songs.

The sound system supplied is on the generous side to fill the gym or multi-purpose room with plenty of volume and bass, but not enough to drive the chaperones crazy. Also provided are some of the coolest lighting and laser effects, complete with fog, to make the environment more electrifing, and less school-gym like.

We have experience doing school dances at elementary schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools. We would be glad to provide references upon request from any of the schools we have worked at.

Pricing for school functions and dances are again very reasonable, even for the school on the tightest budget. Everything is provided, and is usually just a flat rate for 2-3 hours.

Most DJ's at A.I.M. Productions would have a pretty hefty section in their resume with different bars or nightclubs they have worked at. Our company has provided the entire sound system or just the DJ at many local adult hot-spots. Through the years we have worked at the Madison Bear Garden, Jake's (now 5th St. Steakhouse), Quackers, On The Rocks inside the Holiday Inn (formerly Molly Gunns), and the Crazy Horse Saloon. In Red Bluff, we have been the weekend DJ for the Palomino Room for over 4 years now.

We can provide all the chest-thumping speakers and effect lights the patrons can handle, keeping the dance floors packed until last call. Or, let one of our DJ's be the special guest for the night using our music, your sound system. Playing a mix of what's hot and the all-time classics is our specialty. Each of the bars we have supplied music for is different in their own way, providing our DJ's invaluable experience for the next club they work at.

Music is only half of our service. Microphone experience is a prerequisite for all of our DJ's. If you need us to host an event or presentation, to be an emcee (MC, master of ceremony), we can do it. Each of our DJ's has an excellent, warm, intelligible, radio-worthy voice perfect for crowd addressing. In fact, one of our voices can be heard almost daily in a local radio advertisement.

A.I.M. Productions can of course also furnish everything you need for the stage and sound. Multiple wired and wireless mics can be provided, as well as speakers to fit the venue. A sound technician will be there to monitor the system - making sure it sounds just right. Video projectors, screens, and Power Point-enabled computers can be provided and wired in seemlessly as well giving your presentation that professional feel.
